Seminars about EU funding and grant writing

Introduction to EU funding and grant writing

If you are new (or quite new) to the EU funding world, this introductory workshop-style seminar provides you with the fundamental knowledge to understand the EU funding mechanisms, the programmes that are available for your specific sector and activities, and where to find current funding opportunities. We will also look at the application requirements and can, as an option, go into more depth as regards the application procedure. During the seminar, the participants will be given the opportunity to have their questions answered and, if requested, complete some practical exercises. While there are around 40 different EU funding programmes available during the period 2021-2027, I can offer you detailed information and support in particular for the following programmes:

  • Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV)
  • Erasmus+ EU programme to support education, training, youth and sport
  • LIFE (Programme for the Environment and Climate Action)
  • Horizon Europe, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (with a focus on Pillar 2: Clusters)
  • EU Structural Funds (European Regional Development Fund, Interreg, Cohesion Fund, Just Transition Fund, European Social Fund+)

In order to determine the contents of the seminar, we will have a preparatory call in which we talk about what exactly should be included. This will as well concern the required level of detail according to your organisation’s specific needs, both thematically and in terms of the required length. The date of the seminar will be determined according to your needs and the seminar itself can take place either in person or online.
