You already have a project idea and know which Call or programme you are aiming for, but need expert support to turn it into a strong, evaluator-ready proposal? With over 20 years of experience across EU policy and grants, including as an evaluator myself, I offer different ways to work together depending on where you are in the process and how much support you need.
Structured expert review and guidance as you write your Part B, from first draft to final submission.
You have identified your Call topic, assembled your consortium, and perhaps already started to draft your proposal, but turning it into an evaluator-ready version takes focused expertise and time you may not have. Whether you are coordinating a Horizon Europe proposal for the first time, resubmitting a previously rejected proposal, or simply do not have the capacity to give it the attention it deserves, you need more than generic advice: you need strategic support from someone who understands what evaluators need to see.
The package includes three components:
I review the early versions of the three main sections of your Part B proposal: Excellence, Impact, and Quality and Efficiency of the Implementation. Feedback is provided directly in your document through track changes and comments, followed by a Zoom meeting after each section to discuss the recommended changes.
Beyond the section reviews, additional working days of advisory support are included during the drafting process, scoped to your package. This support takes place via calls or email exchange, answering questions as they arise, helping you interpret template expectations, and supporting your strategic decisions.
Once your proposal is close to final, I review the complete Part B document again, focusing on its overall quality, consistency, clarity and competitiveness. You receive comprehensive feedback through track changes and comments, followed by a final advisory Zoom meeting.
By the end of the process, you will have a stronger, clearer, and fine-tuned, evaluator-ready proposal document. You will also have the reassurance of expert feedback and a detailed review of your proposal before submission, resulting in a more structured and competitive final draft.
This service is designed primarily for collaborative Horizon Europe Pillar 2 proposals, though I also provide support for LIFE, CERV and selected other EU funding programmes.
A standard package as described above involves around ten working days spread over one or two months. Depending on the complexity of your proposal and consortium, this can be scaled down for a lighter package or extended for more intensive, longer-term support.
To discuss the options and determine the best support package for your specific proposal, book a free orientation call or send me a message here.
For select projects, I write the full proposal in close collaboration with you: tailored to the Call, evaluator-informed, and submission-ready. This is available on a limited basis, depending on timing, programme fit, and project scope.
Fee and scope depend on the maturity of your concept and the size and complexity of your consortium, confirmed after an initial conversation.

A strategic assessment to identify gaps in your proposal’s foundations, before they become far harder and more time-consuming to fix once drafting is underway.
You first complete a short questionnaire on your Call topic, project concept, consortium status, progress and main challenges. You may also send a short concept note, draft objectives or consortium overview of around five pages, which I review beforehand from an evaluator perspective.
We then discuss, over 90 minutes together, your proposal’s alignment with the Call, the project logic, the consortium set-up, the emerging impact pathway and the priorities for the next stage of development. Afterwards, you receive a concise written summary of the main recommendations and suggested next steps.
This service does not include a detailed review or editing of Part B, nor technical or scientific validation of your project concept. It is designed for organisations with a specific Call topic and an initial project concept, primarily under Horizon Europe Pillar 2 thematic Clusters and related partnership Calls. It is not intended for EIC Accelerator, ERC or individual fellowship applications.
The Proposal Foundations Check is a comprehensive, evaluator-informed assessment of your specific project that goes beyond the free guidance available through public funding advisory channels.
