Writing an EU funding application is considered challenging by many, even by the not completely new applicants. One of the reasons is that the terminology used is often highly technical, bureaucratic and specific to EU policy frameworks. When writing your EU funding application for an EU Call for Proposals, a clear description and an accurate line of argumentation is key.
Therefore, it’s important not to mix up the important terms in your reasoning. This doesn’t only apply to terms such as impact and outcome, but also to the fundamental concepts which need to be outlined in your project description, such as for example the project’s EU added value and sustainability. Let’s look at how you can achieve this.
The success of your application is depending on describing your project appropriately in the different sections of the proposal template. Get a crystal clear understanding what is expected for each of these terminologies.
In the guidance booklet, we compare and clarify the 10 key terminologies within an EU proposal. What do these terms mean in the EU funding context? How should you address them in your proposal, and what kind of information belongs to which one of them?
