EU funding is in principle open to all EU organisations including NGOs, SMEs and local and regional authorities, whereas this of course depends on the thematic field in which you would like to carry out a project. In some programmes, it is possible to be awarded a grant with almost no co-financing from your part, in others you need to bring in a higher percentage from your own funds (or from other funding from non-EU sources).
The funding rules and procedures are complex, which is clearly to the disadvantage of newcomers to EU funding and to smaller organisations and companies as they often do not have enough resources to take care of the administrative steps involved and are lacking the relevant know-how to write a convincing project proposal. This is where I would like to offer my support which stems from around 20 years of professional experience within EU policy and grants. Depending on your organisation’s needs, there are different ways how we could work together.

In case your project would be eligible for EU funding, I can provide you with an overview about the funding conditions, the application procedures and deadlines and give a rough estimate of your chances of success as well as other relevant information. Integrity is of the highest importance to me and I will tell you in all honesty if your project idea would not be suitable for EU funding and give some further explanations. If possible, I give you some hints where to look for alternative funding instead.
You can contact me or book a free-of-charge call in which I can already give you a preliminary assessment if EU funding could be obtained for your project (without any further obligations afterwards). If your project idea fits into one or more funding programmes and after your booking you will receive an overview of the EU funding programme(s) which would be suitable for your project idea, the funding conditions, the application procedures, deadlines as well as, if applicable, other relevant information.
We will have a wrap-up call via Zoom (ca. 30 minutes) in which you can ask me questions or clarifications about the results of the analysis and next steps towards an EU grant application.
